Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Telos Strategy Academy is operated by Kobara Family Trust (ABN 39 665 243 798), Australia ("we", "us"). When you use the site or buy a subscription, you are contracting with Kobara Family Trust. Contact: telos.strategy@icloud.com.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or continuing to use the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

3. The service

Telos Strategy Academy provides online strategy education: written lessons, frameworks, podcasts, quizzes and, on the Academy + AI plan, AI-assisted coaching tools. You must be at least 18, or have authority to bind your organisation if you sign up on its behalf.

4. Your account

Keep your login details confidential and your information accurate. You are responsible for activity under your account.

5. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, renewal, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. See our Refund Policy.

6. Licence and restrictions

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the content within your plan. You must not resell, redistribute, copy in bulk, reverse engineer or work around access limits.

7. Acceptable use

• No unlawful use, fraud or spam.
• No infringement of anyone's intellectual property or privacy.
• No interference with security — including malware, probing, scraping or overloading the site.
• No use of the AI tools to create illegal, hateful, deceptive or harmful content, deepfakes or malware, and no attempts to jailbreak or bypass safeguards.

8. AI tools

AI outputs can be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for what you enter, for checking outputs, and for how you use them. Outputs are general educational material, not legal, financial, investment or other professional advice. You keep rights in what you enter and, as between you and us, in the outputs created for you; you grant us a limited licence to process your inputs solely to provide the service. We may remove content, filter outputs or suspend accounts that breach these terms. Rights holders can report infringing content to telos.strategy@icloud.com; repeat infringers will lose access.

9. Intellectual property

We own the site and all its content, software, documentation and branding, including the Telos Strategy Academy name.

10. Service level and warranties

We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, implied warranties are excluded. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (such as lost profits, data or goodwill), and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous 12 months. This does not limit liability for fraud, death or personal injury.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You can cancel at any time. When access ends, we may delete your saved work after a reasonable period.

13. General

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. You may not transfer your account without our consent. We may update these terms and will post the new version here.
